On Thursday, October 25th, the 8th class grade went to the State House to form the government for the day. Students played roles in the legislative and executive branch, as well as journalists and lobbyists. It was an exciting day and with students engaged in debates in both the House and Senate on issues around immigration and gun control. Ultimately, only one bill made it to the desk of President Kayanna Burns, a bill providing a pathway to citizenship for DACA recipients.
